The conflicts and tragedy in Charlottesville not only revealed the best and worst of Americans, but also highlight some of the best and worst about American brands. For all the sense it might seem to make to avoid divisive issues in our culture, we’re seeing that’s not always the right choice, especially with the run-away PR potential of social media.
